Feverfew Herb Cut & Sifted Organic

Feverfew Herb is a daisy-like perennial that can be found growing throughout the United States and Canada. As the name suggests, it was historically used for fevers, though current research is studying its efficacy for head health. Feverfew has been added to food to cut the greasy taste, but is extremely bitter and disagreeable to most palates.

Directions

To prepare as a tea, pour 8 oz. boiling water over 1/2 tsp. of herb. Cover and steep 3-5 minutes, strain and serve immediately.

IF PREGNANT, NURSING, SUFFERING FROM ANY MEDICAL CONDITION, OR TAKING MEDICATION, CONSULT A HEALTHCARE PRACTITIONER BEFORE USE. PERSONS WITH ALLERGIES TO OTHER MEMBERS OF THE ASTERACEAE FAMILY (SUCH AS CHAMOMILE) SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION WITH FEVERFEW, AS ALLERGIC CROSS-REACTIVITY IS COMMON TO ASTERACEAE PLANTS. PERSONS DISCONTINUING FEVERFEW SHOULD REDUCE USAGE GRADUALLY OVER A 1-MONTH PERIOD. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
